Education:
- Attended Queen’s University as an Ontario Scholar in 1982, where he was a student-athlete on the varsity basketball team and completed an honours degree in English and History.
- Received a law degree from the University of Windsor in 1988.
- Called to the Ontario Bar and started his law practice in 1990.
