Gary focuses his practice in two distinct areas: residential real estate and mortgage refinancing; and wills and estate planning/estate administration. He divides his practice equally in these two distinct legal areas, having received his training in a small Brampton law boutique and then his own firm, Indech Law Chambers Professional Corporation. In May of 2018, Gary joined Feltmate Delibato Heagle LLP as an associate lawyer in their Oakville office.
Within the Wills practice area, Gary has acquired significant expertise and experience in several subspecialities including estate planning for seniors and the elderly, individuals with disabilities, individuals with corporate and business interests, and estate planning for people with complex family issues. Gary has received two separate certifications from the Osgoode Professional Development Centre, the first in Elder Law in 2015 and then, in Wills and Estate Planning in 2018.
Gary’s ongoing interest with seniors dates back to his university days as a Master of Arts student at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. As a graduate student in Anthropology, Gary conducted an extensive, six-month field study of a community of seniors and wrote a lengthy and detailed paper discussing his findings of seniors’ life issues. Today, Gary’s interest in seniors and the elderly continues to flourish and allows Gary to bring unique expertise to his Wills and Estates practice.
Gary also differentiates his law practice by offering clients a added-value mobile service. Clients are most appreciative of the convenience of legal mobile service, especially when Gary meets them in their homes, hospitals, seniors’ residences and home-care facilities, and independent locations, anywhere in the GTA and beyond, on an appointment and needs basis.
Called to the Bar of Ontario in 1997, Gary graduated with the joint Canadian-American law degree from the University of Windsor Law School (1994) and the University of Detroit-Mercy Law School (1994). Prior to attending law school, Gary received his Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Toronto (1987) and his Master of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia (1990).
Gary’s philosophy of legal practice is to treat all his clients with the highest level of courtesy, respect, integrity, honesty, patience and professionalism. He listens very carefully to his clients’ needs and devotes his full attention to advising and solving their legal issues as best as possible.
Gary married his wife, Ilana, in 2002 and they have two daughters, Shoshana and Yael.
